In Memory of 926F - the little wolf that could

926F was born to the Lamar Canyon pack and was 1.5 years old when her mother, 06, was killed by a hunter in Wyoming.  She was a tiny, scrawny wolf that turned into a beauty.  Her life was a tough one, losing mates, pups, severe mange, starving and many other factors in the wild, but she never gave up, not until the day that a local resident decided to end her life with a bullet as she stood on a gravel road just outside of Yellowstone.  

926 was a favorite wolf that was loved the world over.  People flocked to the park just for a chance to see this wolf - she was taken from all of us just to satisfy one man.
