Grizzly 610, daughter of 399

Grizzly 610 in Grand Teton National Park is the daughter of 399.  610 has proven herself to be quite the mother, having two cubs at the age of 5 and then adopting one of her mother's male cubs, and keeping all three safe until maturity.  She is the first grizzly bear that I have followed to have such great success with her first cubs at the age of 5.  610 has only lost one cub in all of these years and there was some talk that interference by wildlife photographers could have played a role in this loss.

At the moment, we expect 610 to come out in spring of 2025 with new cubs.  It will be a whole new world with 399 gone.
