Improve your wildlife photography skills while being in Yellowstone during prime time for photographing the babies.

Winter is the absolute best time to be in Yellowstone and there is no better place to improve your winter photography skills, and no one better to help you reach your goals. Whether you want to photography all wildlife, or just look for wolves, I've got you covered.  

Bears, with cubs, begin emerging from their dens in May and there is nothing cuter than a grizzly or black bear cub.  Bison (red dogs) and elk calves are born in May and June, just as the grass is turning a bright green.  Wolf pups have been born and the family will be out hunting to feed mom and the kids, who are back at the den.  

Spring means unpredictable weather in Yellowstone and we never know what the day will bring, maybe fresh snow on top of green grass  in the morning, a thunderstorm in the afternoon, complete with rainbows, and almost summer warm by the end of the day.  The varying weather makes for all kinds of interesting photo opportunities and the day is interesting from dawn until dark.  

Aside from the the wolves, bears and new babies, we might also see foxes, coyotes, badgers and owls.

This workshop is not private and is limited to 3 participants.

•  Cost is $1450.00, which includes three full days of photography, dinner on the first night, transportation in the park, photography instruction and tips on how and when to find the wildlife.  This workshop also includes one hour of consult within 6 months of the tour, via phone or zoom, which will allow me to view your images and make suggestions if needed.
